UFC Middleweight contender Paulo Costa continues to market his “Secret Juice” gimmick by selling out T-shirts. Costa is not scheduled to fight anyone, but there have been rumours about a potential fight with Khamzat Chimaev in Abu Dhabi. However, for the time being, business continues to thrive for Costa’s “Secret Juice” merchandise.

Paulo Costa wrote on Twitter about the success of his merchandise. He wrote, “Secret Juice drop #1 is OVER. THANKS to all the soldiers in the Secret Juice Army. You helped make this happen. We SOLD OUT Guys! That model is over now. Tnks every soldier who supported, and stay tuned for updates going into the Secret Juice drop #2.”

Since the build-up to his fight against Israel Adesanya and interactions with Marvin Vettori, the MMA community has loved Costa’s antics. He recently promoted his ‘Secret Juice’, imitating McGregor’s announcement of his Proper Twelve Whisky. In the same tweet, he interacted with former Pornstar Kendra Lust who asked him if he sold ladies’ shirts of his merchandise. He replied that he would soon focus on it.

Paulo Costa has not fought since his victory over Luke Rockhold at UFC 278. He has been scheduled to fight Robert Whittaker at UFC 284 but ultimately withdrew from the fight following a contractual stalemate with the UFC. Since then, Costa and the UFC has come to terms on a new contract and will fight later this year.

UFC is trying to book Paulo Costa vs Khamzat Chimaev

Khamzat Chimaev has moved to the Middleweight division after failing to make the weight in his last Welterweight bout. Dana White has confirmed he will fight a top-ranked contender in the Middleweight division. It looks like Chimaev will fight Costa in his next fight.

He had an altercation with Paulo Costa in the past, but it did not lead to a fight announcement between them. However, UFC is trying to reignite their rivalry to book a potential fight in Abu Dhabi, where Chimaev is a huge star. The fight has yet to be announced, but Costa revealed that the negotiations are going on.

Chimaev is an undefeated fighter with wins in the Welterweight and Middleweight divisions. In contrast, Costa returned to the winning column after losing back-to-back fights against Israel Adesanya and Marvin Vettori. Chimaev can potentially challenge for the Middleweight title with a win over Paulo Costa.
