When Is Fortnite OG Season 7 and 8 Coming Out? Start date, weapon changes and more

Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 5 has taken players back to Fortnite Chapter 1, also known as Season OG. The update has left players reminiscing in nostalgia as Epic Games has brought back many old gameplay mechanics and items and the season started with Chapter 1, Season 5. When players entered Season 6, they once again enjoyed older items, such as the Hoverboards in Fortnite.

This has left fans wondering when they’ll experience more of the older seasons, such as Fortnite OG Seasons 7 & 8. After all, these seasons were one of the most fun times fans had in Fortnite. Epic Games introduced a snowy biome in Season 7. Season 8 came with many pirate-themed attractions all over the map.

Fortnite OG Seasons 7 & 8 will start soon

Each update to a season also introduces that season’s items, weapons, vehicles and any different gameplay mechanics to complete your trip down memory lane. This allows you to experience the map of that season and get a complete feel of how the game was at that particular time.

Epic Games has released a Fortnite OG Season schedule. The schedule will let you know when your favourite season from Chapter 1 will return to Fortnite. Starting with Season 5, the map is updated every Thursday to the next season(s). The update generally takes place at 2 pm GMT. This will continue until Fortnite OG ends in December. Here is a week-by-week schedule of Fortnite Season OG.

Season 5 – Nov 3 to Nov 9
Season 6 – Nov 9 to Nov 16
Season 7 & 8 – Nov 16 to Nov 23
Season 9 & X – Nov 23 to Dec 2

Thus, Fortnite OG Seasons 7 & 8 are scheduled to start on November 16th. You can experience the two seasons for a week until they are swapped with seasons 9 & X on November 23rd.

Seasons 7 and 8 will also introduce the iconic X-4 Stormwing plane that earlier allowed players to soar through the skies of the Fortnite map. Overall, the return of Fortnite OG Seasons 7 & 8 will provide a delightful dose of nostalgia for veteran players.
